A nurse who is hired by attorneys to review & critically analyze medical records to help them build their case.
I Needed a New Path
I’m Brenda Tousley, an RN with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant, currently working with a top law firm.
For years, I was living with the stress of the broken healthcare system, with understaffing, too many bosses, abusive patients, the physical demands, and not getting the respect or pay I deserved.
Until I found Legal Nursing Consulting.
As an LNC, I use my nursing expertise to help attorneys identify deviations from the standard of care and further develop their case.
I love advocating for patient safety, so people have the outcomes they deserve. Helping nurses keep their license free from disciplinary actions is another perk. I also love getting paid three times my hospital income for work that is less stressful and that I can do on my own time, in my pajamas, working from home.
